Inside/Outside Circle – recording a character’s characteristics.

The Inside/Outside circle strategy is designed to help the child develop the ability to describe a character’s physical appearance as well as the character’s personality traits. The outside circle is used to record words that describe the physical characteristics. The inside circle is used for recording the words that describe a character’s personality.
